YOU'RE ALWAYS WELCOME HERE

What To Expect When You Visit

Walking into a new church and not knowing what to expect can be a little awkward.  At Dover Advent Christian Church, there are three basic parts to our service, they are: praying, singing, and a teaching from The Bible.

Where Do I Park?

You may feel free to park by the church on the Downing St. side, the Rex Ave. side or even on the Dover Rd. side. Most people however, park on the other side of Downing St. next to the fellowship hall. The handicap parking is located in front of the church on either side of the main doors.

Where Is The Service?

Church services are held in the main sanctuary on the north-east corner of Dover Road and Downing Street. We have a time of fellowship called COFFEE BREAK that begins at 10:30 am and then flows into our Worship Service at 11:00 am

What About Kids?

We have a fully stocked nursery, and changing station located in the back of the sanctuary. There is a live feed in the room so you won't miss a moment of the service. There's also Jr. Church for grades 1-8. Here, kids will enjoy getting to know each other, while hearing about Jesus through a Bible lesson.

What's The Style Of Music?

Our music is a blend of contemporary and traditional. The music we offer and create is based on scripture. It's fresh and exciting, but always easy to sing along with.

What's The Preaching Like?

Expect to hear messages that show how to live out our daily lives with the love and hope that comes from God. Expect to hear the full counsel of God, meaning we don't leave anything out. The messages many times will cause you to reflect on your life, and hopefully cause you to dig deeper with Jesus. Typically the teaching portion of the service will be 25-30 minutes.

What Do I Wear?

We do not have a dress code. At our services, you will see people wearing anything from casual to business casual. Jeans and a T-shirt to dress pants and a tie or a dress.
