WE BELIEVE IN THE LIFE, DEATH, AND RESURRECTION OF JESUS CHRIST

WE BELIEVE THAT

The Bible is inspired by The Holy Spirit, without error, and is the authoritative Word of God.

(2 Timothy 3:16; 2 Peter 1:20-21)

There is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

(Deut. 6:4; Matthew 28:19)

God is the Creator of all things, He is in control of the universe, but also our loving Father, who is fully revealed in His Son, Jesus Christ.

(Genesis 1; Psalm 24; John 14:6-7; Heb. 1:2)

The Lord Jesus Christ is the only Savior from sin, he died for our sins, arose bodily from the dead, and ascended into heaven as our Mediator.

(John 3:14-16; 1 Cor. 15:3-4; Heb. 7:25)

Jesus Christ will return to earth personally and visibly at the close of this age to judge the world and bestow eternal life upon believers.

(Acts 1:9-11; Phil. 3:20-21; 1 Thess. 4:16-17; 2 Timothy 4:1)

Man is mortal by nature, but may receive immortality as the gift of God at the resurrection, through faith in Jesus Christ.

(John 3:16; Romans 6:23; 1 Cor. 15:16-22)

Man is unconscious from the moment of death until the resurrection, in a state often called “sleep” in the Bible.

(Psalm 146:4; Eccl. 9:5-10; John 11:11-14)

There will be a resurrection of all the dead when Jesus comes again, when the just will enter into eternal life and the unjust will be separated from God forever.

(Daniel 12:3; John 5:28-29; 1 Thess. 4:13-18)

The future home of the saints will be the kingdom of Christ on this earth made new following the earth’s redemption from sin and death.

(Matthew 5:5; 2 Peter 3:13; Rev. 21:1-5)

The only divinely ordained sacraments are baptism and The Lord’s Supper, and they are to be practiced.

(Matthew 28:19; Romans 6:3-4; 1 Cor. 11:23-26)
